Nourishing Ourselves & One Another - donation based therapeutic yoga session to benefit Pilsen Food Pantry

This donation based, virtual offering will benefit Pilsen Food Pantry (https://www.pilsenfoodpantry.com/). Pay what you can, knowing that you are contributing to a worthy cause.

No prior experience with yoga is necessary to participate.

  • We will start with a brief explanation of yoga philosophy principles related to community and the importance of nourishing all the koshas (layers of our existence).
  • A brief journaling prompt will invite you to consider practical ways to tend to yourself and others with care and compassion--whether that's during times of hardship, or just day-to-day.
  • Next, we will move into a gentle physical yoga practice (pranayama and asana) designed for all levels.
  • Finally, we will close with a period of guided relaxation and restorative rest.
